Arena Breakout: Infinite is a free-to-play tactical first-person shooter now available on Steam, and players are loving it – the game currently has “Very Positive” reviews. It’s been a highly anticipated release, with many comparing it to popular games like Call of Duty.
September was mostly defined by the popular launch of *Hollow Knight: Silksong* on Steam and other stores. But it wasn’t the only big game released this month. Another independent game, quite different in style, is also becoming popular and attracting more players.
Arena Breakout: Infinite Is a Free Tactical Extraction FPS
The complete version of *Arena Breakout: Infinite* became available on Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 15th. Players engage in raids, collect loot, and try to escape with valuable items across various maps. What makes this game different from other similar shooters is its focus on carefully planned equipment – you can customize weapons with over 900 modifications and 20 attachment points. To keep things interesting, the game also includes changing weather conditions that create new challenges with each playthrough.
Though it officially launched recently, *Arena Breakout: Infinite* has been available in Early Access for a while and is now starting its third season with the worldwide release. The game currently offers several modes, primarily centered around cooperative raids against enemies and then escaping with loot. And, like many popular first-person shooters, *Arena Breakout: Infinite* also has a classic team deathmatch mode for those who prefer direct player-versus-player combat.

Arena Breakout: Infinite has a unique way of letting players track their progress. You can create a personal trophy room to show off everything you’ve achieved. With the game now available worldwide, this feature has been updated with additions like a Living Area, Intelligence Center, and Workbench, giving you even more ways to display your accomplishments. The game also introduces Supply Stations on each map, which should add new strategic options during raids.
Just after its official release, *Arena Breakout: Infinite* attracted over 20,000 players at the same time, according to SteamDB. This is a significant achievement for the game’s developer, Morefun Studios, and a good indication that it’s a fun game worth checking out. Plus, *Arena Breakout: Infinite* isn’t the only free game Morefun Studios is working on – they’re also creating *The Hidden Ones*, a 3D anime fighting game, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.
