New Tarkov Event Boosts Airdrops and Pulls Bosses Together

New Tarkov Event Boosts Airdrops and Pulls Bosses Together

As a seasoned Tarkov player with hundreds of hours under my belt, I can’t help but feel a tinge of déjà vu as Battlestate Games announces another pre-wipe event that seems eerily similar to ones we’ve seen before. Airdrops becoming more frequent than seagulls on a beach? Been there, done that. Bosses congregating on the same map like a high-stakes PvP picnic? Check and check.

As a dedicated gamer of EFT (Escape from Tarkov), I’m always on the lookout for updates from Battlestate Games, and today they dropped another tantalizing hint about the upcoming pre-wipe event. This time, it’s a cryptic image that leaves us guessing but promises more airdrops than usual. What’s even more intriguing is the suggestion that all those formidable bosses will be gathering on a single map, which could make for some intense and unpredictable gameplay!

In simple terms, fans who are hoping for something fresh and new in the upcoming 0.15 patch might be feeling let down because many of the changes we’ve seen so far – like a secured Flea Market, increased loot spawns, boosted skill leveling, and faster Hideout upgrades – are not entirely new to us. In other words, it seems like more of the same rather than something completely fresh or unexpected.

Dive In

These are events that have surfaced in Escape from Tarkov before.

As an enthusiast, I can’t help but envision a future where airdrops are almost constant, with aircraft traversing every map, showering players with towering stacks of top-tier loot that ignites fierce competition. The real thrill, though, comes when all the bosses materialize simultaneously on a single map – a spectacle reminiscent of past events in Tarkov, where the infamous Customs map played host to their simultaneous arrival.

In this situation, it’s quite challenging for those seeking a more relaxed gameplay experience, but since it’s before the server reset (pre-wipe), they’ll simply have to adapt and manage accordingly.

To clarify, players who only engage in Player vs Environment (PvE) gameplay aren’t affected by the specific events mentioned, because PvE doesn’t undergo a traditional ‘wipe’. So, for those who don’t participate in Player vs Player (PvP) or the standard version of Tarkov, life carries on as usual.

Presently, we’re not sure which map the bosses are spawning on – we’re working to confirm that now.
