2 additional voice talents are set to join the ensemble of SAKAMOTO DAYS, just before episode 7, entitled “Jurassic Guy,” which is scheduled for broadcast on Saturday, February 22. The newly added voices will belong to two new characters debuting in the upcoming episode: Kashima and Natsuki Seba. Alongside their character designs, a sneak peek at upcoming episodes has also been released, offering a glimpse of one of the most peculiar-looking characters in the show thus far.
After introducing Yasuhiro Mamiya, Yumi Uchiyama, and Ryota Suzuki as Boiled, Obiguro, and Heisuke Mashimo, two more actors have been added to the cast.

Familiar Voices Join the Organization
Nobuhiko Okamoto is a voice actor who has captured fans’ affection with his powerful vocal performances in various roles like Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia, Rin Okumura from Blue Exorcist, Yu Nishinoya from Haikyuu!, and Genya Shinazugawa from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba. However, what sets Okamoto apart is his versatility. One might expect him to only voice boisterous characters, but he surprises us with subtle, soft performances such as Kuma in One Piece, Himmel in Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, Ryo Kurokiba in Food Wars! (who barely speaks when not cooking), and even Otonashi from Acchi Kocchi (which is ironic because “otonashi” means quiet in Japanese).
From the character portrayal of Natsuki Seba in episode 7 of SAKAMOTO DAYS, it’s likely we’ll see another subtle performance by Okamoto. On the other hand, Kashima will be voiced by Kazuyuki Okitsu, a fellow cast member of Okamoto in My Hero Academia and Haikyuu! where he plays Fat Gum and Suguru Daishō respectively. Notably, Okitsu has also given voice to another character named Kashima, from the Is It Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon (DanMachi) series. Some of Okitsu’s most notable roles include Masa from Gokushifudō: The Way of the Househusband, Luke Notos Greyrat from Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation, Shinzō Yozakura from Mission: Yozakura Family, and Serpico from Berserk (2016).
SAKAMOTO DAYS is available to stream on Netflix. New episodes are released on Saturdays.
