The WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour Edition Pack is available now, and a special Farewell Tour Edition of the game is also available for new players. This pack celebrates the incredible career of John Cena as he approaches retirement, and it adds four new wrestlers to WWE 2K25, including multiple versions of Cena himself.
When *WWE 2K25* launched in March, it already had the biggest roster of any game in the series. Since then, over 20 additional wrestlers have been added through downloadable content. Features like Persona Cards and unlockables in game modes like The Island and MyFACTION have increased the number of available characters even more.
WWE 2K25 Farewell Tour DLC Contents
- Brock Lesnar (Wrestler)
- Ron Cena (Wrestler)
- WrestleMania 41 John Cena (Wrestler)
- Dr. of Thuganomics John Cena (Wrestler)
- Five John Cena Farewell Tour tee shirt cosmetic items
- 15,000 VC
John Cena is considered one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time. With his 23-year WWE career ending on December 13th, a new downloadable content (DLC) pack for WWE 2K25 has been released to honor his retirement, as announced in October. The pack adds two new versions of Cena to the game. One features his recent look and attitude from when he defeated Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41. The other takes players back to his early days, showcasing his popular Doctor of Thuganomics persona – a character he developed after his first attempt, the ‘Prototype,’ didn’t quite catch on with WWE executives.

The pack also features a comedic version of John Cena, portrayed by Ron Killings (R-Truth), who jokingly claims Cena was his childhood hero – even though Cena is younger and Killings started working for WWE earlier. The final wrestler included is Brock Lesnar, who was removed from previous WWE games like *WWE 2K24* and *WWE SuperCard* after being mentioned in a lawsuit filed by a former WWE employee, Janel Grant. It’s important to note that Lesnar himself wasn’t named as a defendant in the case.

Before the new downloadable content (DLC) came out, fans had different reactions. While many were excited to see Brock Lesnar back in the game – and some even seemed more interested in him than the featured champion – others were frustrated that it wasn’t included with the season pass. This continues a pattern of needing to buy extra content for characters like Aleister Black and the Nation of Domination version of The Rock.
