Players of ARC Raiders are currently discovering everything new in the Cold Snap update, which added the Flickering Flames event and snow-covered maps with challenging weather. But, through a smart workaround, some have already gotten a peek at future content, including a new map feature called ‘Toxic Swamp’.

How to Check ARC Raiders’ Calendar

To find out what’s planned for ARC Raiders, you’ll need a PC. Launch the game and change your computer’s date to a date in the future. This will trigger an update revealing details about upcoming events.

Keep in mind that plans are still developing, so don’t take everything as definitive.

Over the next few weeks, players can look forward to special challenges inspired by Cold Snap, released as part of the Trials circuit.

The game will see some changes in mid-January. The Cold Snap event ends on January 13th, and Hidden Bunker will be the featured map for the following week. Then, starting January 19th, a new map condition called Toxic Swamp will be introduced.

It’s unclear exactly what this will involve, but it likely relates to Dam, considering the game already features a large swamp area. Recent missions in ARC Raiders also mention increasing toxicity within the swamp, suggesting this could be connected to the new map’s challenge.
