Next Tarkov Wipe Arrives August 20, Battlestate Reveals

As a seasoned Tarkov survivor with over 10,000 hours under my belt, I can confidently say that the upcoming wipe and patch 0.15 have me buzzing like a bear with a honey-filled hive. The Factory expansion, new weapons, and pre-wipe events are just the tip of the iceberg for this highly anticipated update.

After over 230 days, it’s now confirmed that the next Escape from Tarkov reset (or wipe) is scheduled for August 20. This announcement also includes the return of the Twitch Drops campaign. By tuning into top streamers playing Tarkov on Battlestate Games’ platform, Twitch, viewers can earn rewards.

As a long-time fan of Tarkov, I can confidently say that this marks the end of the longest wipe in its history and it heralds the arrival of the 0.15 patch, which is poised to bring about significant changes to the most popular extraction shooter game in the world. Having played this game since its early days, I’ve witnessed numerous updates and patches, but none have been as eagerly anticipated as this one. The anticipation is palpable among the Tarkov community, and for good reason – the 0.15 patch promises to bring a wealth of new features and improvements that will undoubtedly shake up the game and keep us engaged for many hours to come. I, for one, can’t wait to see what this update brings and to continue my journey in Tarkov.

Prepare To Escape

As a dedicated gamer, I’m pumped! Battlestate Games has unveiled a new trailer for their upcoming 0.15 patch – the first wipe since December 2023! Can’t wait to dive back into Tarkov and explore what fresh challenges await me in this latest update!

In this preview, we’re given our comprehensive debut glimpse of the Factory expansion, which appears to be significantly enlarging the game map. As one of the original Tarkov maps, the Factory has long been a popular choice for swift, intense battles over several years. This alteration signifies the first time it has been extended by Battlestate Games.

The trailer for the next Tarkov wipe also reveals new weapons, including the 9mm Uzi SMG and the sought-after Desert Eagle. In one scene, BSG’s capture artists are scene blasting down Killa with the .50 handgun.

Currently, changes are spreading rapidly throughout the game, as Battlestate Games makes adjustments to different game aspects during the final stretch of this season. Soon, nearly everything in the game will be significantly discounted, and players will gain full access to all game content before the end of this update cycle.

On the following Tuesday, Escape from Tarkov will undergo a reset, leading to the return of approximately half a million players. This marks the commencement of the process anew.
