A source within the industry has revealed that the remastered versions of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 are expected to be launched following the Xbox Summer Showcase event, scheduled for June 2025.
Recent news reveals that professional skateboarder Tyshawn Jones has shared updates about a potential remaster for the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series. He mentioned he is speaking with Activision again, making this “incredibly thrilling” news in the gaming industry. According to reliable sources such as eXtas1s, the upcoming game appears to be a remaster of both Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4, and it may arrive sooner than expected.
In a recent YouTube upload (shared on r/GamingLeaksAndRumours), eXtas1s validated Jones’s claim, revealing that a revamped edition of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 is under development. Known internally as Project Chicago at Microsoft, this remastered version is expected to hit the shelves by June 2025. The insider hinted that following the Xbox Summer Showcase presentation, the THPS 3+4 remaster might be covertly launched (a practice known as shadow-dropping).
Furthermore, it appears that THPS 3+4 Remastered is set to debut as a Day One title on Xbox Game Pass and can also be purchased separately on Steam and PlayStation 5. While eXtas1s couldn’t provide confirmation regarding the THPS 3+4 remaster for the Switch 2, he is quite optimistic about his estimate of its release date.
