EA Sports has announced the release date and platforms for NHL 26.
On August 6th’s comprehensive unveiling of the game, it was disclosed that NHL 26 will be available starting September 12 for the regular version. Purchasers of the Deluxe Edition will receive their copies a week ahead, from September 5th.
For the first time since NHL 20, which was released in 2019, the upcoming game will hit shelves in September instead of October, a change from the previous five releases.

Beyond its release date, it’s been made official that the game will debut on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Unfortunately, players expecting a version for PC or Nintendo Switch 2 will need to be patient for another year at least.
In addition to its updated Be-A-Pro experience, enhanced ICE-Q 2.0 gameplay, and fresh Hockey Ultimate Team (HUT) seasons, NHL 26 offers these features without any apparent alterations to its franchise mode.
