Although players might come across numerous hints about this mechanic while gathering Jades or mastering skills, they might still be unsure about how it operates. Nine Sols: How Does Internal Damage Work
As a fan, let me break it down: Essentially, Internal Damage is a unique kind of harm that recovers on its own unless it’s transformed into immediate damage before the recovery process begins. For Yi, his Internal Damage gets turned into direct damage if he sustains actual damage prior to recovery. Yi Internal Damage
Whenever Yi tries to block an attack with a premature or slightly off-target parry, known as an “imprecise parry,” he incurs Internal Damage. This Internal Damage is signified by a red section on his health meter, which increases as players continue to execute consecutive imprecise parries. The red section can replenish itself if Yi goes without taking further Internal Damage for a brief period. However, it will disappear if he sustains real damage before the red section has had a chance to refill.
In the game Nine Sols, players can speed up how quickly Yi’s Internal Damage recovers by using the Recovery Jade as an equipment item.
Enemy Internal Damage
You can cause internal harm to an opponent by affixing a Talisman to them, striking them with a Tai-Chi Kick when they illuminate green, effectively carrying out an Unbound Counter, and performing various other actions. An opponent’s internal damage is indicated as a purple segment on their health meter, and similar to yours, it regenerates if the enemy goes without taking further damage for a certain period of time.
As a devoted fan, I’ve noticed a distinctive split between Yi’s Internal Damage and an adversary’s in the game Nine Sols. Intriguingly, unlike Yi who forfeits his opportunity to recuperate Internal Damage if struck before recovery, enemies retain their purple health section, regardless of continuous blade strikes.
To eliminate the purple segment from an adversary’s health meter, and transform Internal Damage into immediate damage, players must affix a Talisman to the enemy and subsequently trigger it.
