Nine Sols: Where to Go After Saving Village

As a seasoned gamer with years of Metroidvania experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the journey through Nine Sols is nothing short of exhilarating. After saving Peach Blossom Village, I found myself yearning for more challenges and mysteries to unravel. The Factory (Great Hall) was my next destination, a place I had visited before in pursuit of Yanlao.

In the game titled “Nine Sols“, the journey initiates within the serene Peach Blossom Village, with a potential chance for players to revisit it later. However, unlike the initial visit, the second time around is not a pleasant one; the village is under attack by hordes of monsters that demand immediate intervention. Once you’ve successfully defended and saved Peach Blossom Village in “Nine Sols“, curious fans might wonder what steps to take next, and this guide aims to provide some clarity on the subject.

Those seeking a gentle nudge towards progress might aim for the Factory, which is often referred to as the Great Hall.

Nine Sols: Where to Go After Saving Peach Blossom Village

Go to Factory (Great Hall)

Following the village’s rescue, players should proceed towards their previous destination, the Grand Hall (Factory), which they initially encountered during their chase of Yanlao. While adventurers can stroll from Peach Blossom Village to this spot, it’s quicker to retrace steps by returning to the Four Seasons Pavilion via a Root Node. Then, utilize the fast travel feature of Nine Sols, which allows instant teleportation from the pavilion’s Root Node to the Grand Hall’s (Factory’s) Root Node.

Break the Statues in Factory (Great Hall)

Players need to move towards the left from the Factory (Great Hall) Root Node now in order to get to the two big hammering statues. The flames that occasionally sweep through Nine Sols’ Factory (Great Hall) are caused by these statues, but players can prevent this by destroying the figures. Here’s how: Stand between the statues, build up an Unbound Counter, and then discharge it right as the hammers are about to hit you.

Go to the Factory (Production Area)

Nine individuals are free to roam the Factory (Great Hall) without fear of approaching fires now, and they ought to navigate their way towards the left from the statues in order to arrive at the spot indicated on the enclosed map.

In this area, you’ll discover a gadget mounted on the wall that shoots objects. To return fire at this device, you’ll need to employ an “Unbound Counter”. This action not only destroys the device but also removes the wall it was connected to, revealing an “elevator” which can be utilized to ascend and gain entry to the “Factory”, or what is known as the “Production Area”.

Once stepping into the elevator, gamers will be presented with a brief cinematic sequence showcasing Jiequan. Later on, they’ll engage in combat with Sol, located in a room situated above the Factory (Production Area). Metroidvania enthusiasts can access this room by boarding the elevator at the end of the indicated path on the following map. However, it is recommended to delve into some exploration during your journey. Specifically, players should prioritize finding a Gene Eradicator within the Factory (Production Area), as this item significantly facilitates the confrontation with Jiequan.
