Ninja Gaiden 4 Will Bring Back a Popular Ability

The upcoming game Ninja Gaiden 4 is set to bring back the handy feature known as Ultimate Guidance, as announced by co-director and producer Yuji Nakao in a message to fans. This means that players can expect another round of action-packed battles similar to those introduced since the series’ revival in 2004. The return of Ultimate Guidance is aimed at ensuring gamers continue their journey swiftly through Ninja Gaiden 4.

Back in 2008, I had the pleasure of diving into Team Ninja’s Ninja Gaiden 2 for Xbox 360 – a game that remains legendary for its unforgiving difficulty. The game challenged me with a narrow health pool, scarce save points, and formidable AI enemies that were truly ahead of their time. Ninja Gaiden 4’s Ultimate Guidance Could Be a Game Changer

As a fellow gaming enthusiast, I’m super pumped to share some exciting news about Ninja Gaiden 4! The legendary Atsushi Nakao, our new co-director, announced on Platinum Games’ Twitter that the Ultimate Guidance system will make a comeback in this upcoming masterpiece.

For those who don’t know, this is Nakao’s debut as director for the Ninja Gaiden series, teaming up with series veteran Fumihiko Yasuda. The last mainline entry was released back in 2012, and it was a joint effort by Yasuda and Yosuke Hayashi. In his own words, “This game system has remained a constant inspiration for me throughout the years, and I’ve made sure to preserve its strengths in

It seems like Ultimate Guidance won’t be the sole returning mechanism in the upcoming game of the series, scheduled for release on October 21st. Though Nakao didn’t provide details, he hinted that many other features from the Ninja Gaiden series will resurface. He mentioned specifically that Yakumo, the protagonist of Ninja Gaiden 4, will utilize the Bloodraven Form mechanic to make techniques more accessible.

Following its announcement in January, interest in the upcoming action-adventure game has surged since the electrifying gameplay trailer for Ninja Gaiden 4 was unveiled during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 19. The newly released footage offers a glimpse of the game’s high-speed combat and lays the groundwork for the strained alliance between the Hayabusa and Raven clans, hinting that protagonist Yakumo will engage in at least one battle with longtime series character Ryu Hayabusa.
