Nintendo has revealed a new Nintendo Direct presentation scheduled for November 2025, and it will be all about The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Although we won’t see any game announcements, Nintendo is starting to share details about what fans can expect from Mario’s next film.

Nintendo has had a busy 2025, holding several Nintendo Direct presentations to keep fans updated. As expected, some of these broadcasts have focused on the Switch 2, which launched in June. Just recently, they showcased Kirby Air Riders with a dedicated Direct, offering a detailed look at Masahiro Sakurai’s new racing game. Now, with the year winding down, Nintendo is gearing up to reveal more about a significant project planned for 2026.

Nintendo Announces Super Mario Galaxy Movie Direct

Nintendo has announced a special presentation focused on The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, coming to their YouTube channel and the Nintendo Today app on Wednesday, November 12th at 6 am Pacific Time. The presentation will debut the official trailer for the movie, offering a much more detailed look at the story and characters than the previously released teaser. Since the Direct will focus solely on the movie – there won’t be any new game announcements – it’s likely to be relatively short.

Everyone is excited for the trailer of the next Super Mario movie, especially after how well the first one did! This new film seems to be heading into space, which will likely give it a different vibe than the 2023 movie. We’re also expecting to see the character Rosalina, who’s popular from the Super Mario Galaxy games.
