This connection feels logical, as *Pikmin* games often take place in familiar, garden-like environments, leading some to believe the film might be a hint at a new *Pikmin* game, possibly *Pikmin 5*. One idea is that this short film might be connected to *The Super Mario Galaxy Movie*, coming out on April 3, 2026. Some people think the little child could be Princess Rosalina, as her parents’ identities are a mystery. It’s possible this is a scene from the movie, though the animation style looks a little different.
