Nintendo Switch 2 Has 8 Big Games Releasing in March 2026

Players of the Nintendo Switch 2 have eight major games anticipated for March 2026, including two that will be exclusive to the console. Since launching last June, Nintendo has strongly supported the Switch 2, making it the fastest-selling video game console ever. To maintain this success, Nintendo understands the importance of consistently releasing new games for the system.

Since the Switch 2 launched, a significant new first-party game has come out almost every month. This includes exclusive titles like Donkey Kong Bananza, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, Kirby Air Riders, and Mario Tennis Fever, as well as big Nintendo exclusives available on other platforms such as Pokemon Legends: Z-A and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond. March 2026 will bring two more games exclusive to the Switch 2, alongside several major releases available on multiple platforms.

In March 2026, the Switch 2 will launch with several exciting games. Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf and Pokemon Pokopia will be available on March 5th, followed by Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake on March 12th. March 13th will see the release of both Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection and WWE 2K26. Mouse: P.I. for Hire, a first-person shooter, arrives on March 19th, and a special Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Disney Dreamlight Valley will be released on March 25th. Finally, on March 26th, Super Mario Bros. Wonder will be available as Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park.

Upcoming Switch 2 Games for March 2026

  • Planet of Lana 2: Children of the Leaf – March 5

  • Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake – March 12

Launching in March 2026, Pokemon Pokopia is the major new game for the Switch 2, and currently the only exclusive title releasing next month. There’s a lot of excitement surrounding the game, which combines the familiar world of Pokemon with the relaxing, life-simulation gameplay of titles like Stardew Valley. Its visual style also draws inspiration from Minecraft. Players take on the role of a Ditto, using the abilities of different Pokemon to complete challenges. With all these unique elements, Pokemon Pokopia promises to be a compelling release, and it will be fascinating to see how it stacks up against its inspirations when it launches on March 5th.

Besides the new game, the Switch 2 will also get a special version of Super Mario Bros. Wonder. Though originally released on the older Switch, this version, launching March 26th as Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Meetup in Bellabel Park, will include extra content only available on the new console. Details are still limited, but it will feature new characters and expanded multiplayer options.

For Switch 2 owners, Fatal Frame 2: Crimson Butterfly Remake is a must-watch – it’s a remake of a classic survival-horror game. WWE fans will also be excited about WWE 2K26, which is the first new WWE 2K game on a Nintendo console in a long time. These games, along with other upcoming Switch 2 titles in March, promise a great month for the console.
