On May 8th, Nintendo will start sending out preliminary invitations for the upcoming Switch 2 pre-orders.

According to Gameranx, the official My Nintendo Store has introduced a special page where gaming enthusiasts can indicate their intention to acquire the upcoming Switch 2 model. This option is currently exclusive to residents of the United States and Canada who are at least 18 years old. Eligible individuals will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis and must have a Nintendo Switch Online membership with a minimum of 12 months paid subscription and a total playtime of at least 50 hours before April 2, 2025. Successful applicants will receive an invitation email.

How to Register for Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Order Invites

To secure a spot for pre-ordering the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, gamers should initially navigate to this specific website. Upon arrival, they need to log in using their Nintendo Account and verify that they qualify according to the set requirements. After successful sign-in, users will find two choices: registering for the Nintendo Switch 2 console or the Nintendo Switch 2 with Mario Kart World Bundle package.

Players should be aware that invitations cannot be shared and will be delivered directly to the email associated with the player’s Nintendo Account. Each invitation allows for only one system and accessory purchase. Additionally, players have the opportunity to buy additional accessories for their system, but they can acquire just one system and accessory per invite.
