Nintendo Switch 2 Pre-Orders Are Already Live in the UK

While many retailers in America plan to accept pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 on April 9th, a departure from the norm, UK outlets have chosen to begin accepting Switch 2 orders earlier than scheduled.

April 2nd brought significant excitement as an hour-long presentation, the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct, unveiled substantial details regarding the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. Highlights included a peek at intriguing first-party software such as Donkey Kong Bananza, but it also sparked debate over game pricing and confusion about game cartridges.

Regardless, numerous enthusiasts eagerly await their chance to secure a pre-order, with the US set to begin on April 9 and the UK getting an advantageous 24-hour head start on April 8. However, UK residents find themselves puzzled as Switch 2 pre-orders seem to be partially available already.

You Can Pre-Order Nintendo Switch 2 Consoles in The UK

Many people living in the UK are familiar with Argos, a well-known retailer here. On their website, you can now pre-order and make payment for an individual Nintendo Switch 2 device or a bundle that includes Mario Kart World at a lower price, which comes packaged together.

Yesterday, we shared the price of the Switch 2, and as it stands today, that price remains unaltered. Argos currently offers the basic version for £395.99, while the MK package is available for £429.99.

Other stores continue to hold off on placing their Switch 2 orders, either keeping them on waiting lists or simply accepting expressions of interest. Whether it’s a mistake by Argos or they’ve been given some leniency remains uncertain.

Argos is the way to go if you want to secure your Switch 2 pre-order!
