Nintendo Switch 2 Will Feature GameChat, Its Own Built-In Version of Discord

Pressing the “C” button initiates the launch of the GameChat application, boasting functionalities similar to popular third-party chat platforms such as Discord. In this environment, players can engage in voice conversations, screen sharing, and video calls using the latest Switch 2 camera. This innovative feature was unveiled for the first time during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct presentation.

The upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 model comes equipped with an integrated microphone, allowing for clear voice pickup from a distance, even amid background noise.
