The game titled “Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise”, which can only be played on Nintendo Switch, will no longer be available for purchase on the Nintendo eShop starting November 28. However, not all regions have indicated that this game is being discontinued, so fans of fitness games might still be able to acquire the sequel of “Fitness Boxing” to complete their collection.
In December of 2020, the new Fitness Boxing 2 game hit the market, quickly racking up impressive sales figures, selling more than half a million units within its first month. By January 2021, Nintendo had already released the first DLC pack for the game, mere weeks after it was initially launched. This workout-focused title combines boxing moves with popular tunes from artists such as Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber, and Marshmello.
Fitness Boxing 2 will be Delisted by Nintendo UK on November 28
As per the Nintendo UK eShop, the game “Fitness Boxing 2” will be taken off the shelf on November 28th. This means both the demo and the full game will no longer be for sale. However, if you’ve already bought the digital version, you can still re-download it and get any updates that come after this date. The eShop doesn’t specify whether the DLC for “Fitness Boxing 2” will continue to be sold after it’s delisted. In 2023, “Fitness Boxing 2” surprised its players with additional DLC packs featuring fresh music and workout routines, following up on the free No Mercy intensity DLC pack that was previously released.

At present, the descriptions for Fitness Boxing 2 in the US and Japan on Nintendo’s shop do not match that of the UK eShop. Previously, when Nintendo announced the removal of Fitness Boxing from their digital storefront, it was not explicitly mentioned in the Americas, but the game was eventually taken down. As for Fitness Boxing 2, there has been no explanation given for its potential delisting, although one possible reason could be the expiration of music licenses.

Although Nintendo’s Fitness Boxing series may not have completely eclipsed the fame of its Wii Fit counterpart, it has still managed to garner enough interest for Nintendo to produce collaborative games. For instance, Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star, a crossover with the Fist of the North Star games, was launched in March 2023, offering fans an opportunity to exercise alongside their beloved characters. In September 2024, Hatsune Miku enthusiasts were given Fitness Boxing feat. Hatsune Miku, while Fitness Boxing 3 followed suit in December 2024. Nintendo introduced the first DLC pack for Fitness Boxing 3 on July 31, 2025, which includes music tracks from three distinct anime series, such as Jujutsu Kaisen: Hidden Inventory/Premature Death.
