When a fan asked about a potential Divinity: Original Sin 3, Larian Studios’ Michael Douse stated they aren’t currently working on it. However, he clarified that doesn’t mean they have no future plans for the Divinity series overall.
The developer stated that while there are no immediate plans for a Divinity: Original Sin 3, they will reveal their next project when they’re ready.
Although the recent news doesn’t confirm Divinity: Original Sin 3, there’s a strong possibility we’ll see something Divinity-related at The Game Awards on Thursday. It could even be a brand new game within the series, potentially with a different title.
There’s a growing buzz that Larian Studios will soon reveal a special ‘Definitive Edition’ of Divinity: Original Sin 2 for the PlayStation 5, and potentially for Xbox Series X|S as well.
