A new update, version 6.05, is now available for No Man’s Sky. This update includes many bug fixes designed to improve the game. The developers at Hello Games have been actively collecting feedback from players to quickly address issues and make No Man’s Sky even better.
Since its rocky start in 2016, *No Man’s Sky* has been dramatically improved with numerous free updates. The developers have consistently added new features and content to address player concerns and fulfill promises made for the game. They’ve especially focused on listening to player feedback and incorporating requested changes, and have even increased the frequency of updates in recent years. Following recent major additions, the team released an experimental version in early September to tackle frustrating issues. Now, Hello Games is working on another set of bug fixes, which will soon be available for players on all platforms.
After a major update to fix bugs in *No Man’s Sky* earlier this month, another small update, called Hotfix 6.05, is now available on Steam and will soon be released on other platforms. This update addresses a variety of problems, particularly with corvettes. It includes a new decorative item for corvettes called the Thermal Grille Cap, and fixes a frequent issue where corvettes would collide with things while landing. The update also resolves several game crashes, including ones that happened during flight, while using DLSS graphics settings, and while building corvettes on the Steam Deck.

After the release of the Voyagers update at the end of August, No Man’s Sky experienced a big surge in players, hitting over 93,000 concurrent users on Steam. This was the most players the game had seen in five years, since 2018, and was largely due to the new ability to customize corvette ships, which brought many players back to the game.

Hello Games, the team behind the continually updated *No Man’s Sky*, is also working on a new game called *Light No Fire*. It’s a building and survival game set on a massive, Earth-sized fantasy planet. *Light No Fire* is already very popular on Steam, with a huge number of players adding it to their wishlists, though a release date hasn’t been announced yet.
