A player exploring the vast universe of No Man’s Sky recently stumbled upon a planet that looks remarkably like the world featured in Hello Games’ upcoming game, Light No Fire.
Hello Games unveiled their new game, Light No Fire, at The Game Awards 2023. Like their previous title, No Man’s Sky, Light No Fire will have players explore a vast, procedurally-generated world and discover its mysteries. However, this new game will be different: it’s set on a single planet that’s reportedly larger than Earth and even more expansive than No Man’s Sky. Interestingly, a fan recently discovered a planet in No Man’s Sky that bears a striking resemblance to what we’ve seen of Light No Fire.
No Man’s Sky World is Strikingly Similar to Light No Fire
A Reddit user named Tijex10 recently shared an amazing discovery in the game No Man’s Sky on the game’s subreddit. They found a vibrant, Earth-like planet called Artemis and posted several pictures of its beautiful landscapes. The planet strongly resembles the environments in Light No Fire, featuring similar plants and rock formations. The screenshots showcase a diverse range of areas, including large lakes and dark underground caves lit by colorful, glowing mushrooms. The user also noted that the planet’s temperature is similar to Earth’s, and its size is around 97,300 units.
Fans were amazed by a planet resembling the world from Light No Fire, and the post’s comments were filled with funny reactions and speculation. Many joked that Hello Games, the developers of No Man’s Sky, might be testing new features on planets like this one, and some theorized that the Light No Fire world could actually exist within the No Man’s Sky universe. The original poster even shared the planet’s coordinates so other players could find it for themselves.
Fans of No Man’s Sky have a lot to look forward to with the upcoming release of Light No Fire. After the game was revealed, Hello Games founder Sean Murray immediately generated excitement, promising a “truly open world” experience. Developers have already announced key features, including detailed character customization and a shared multiplayer universe. Players will also be able to ride a diverse selection of mounts, from common birds to majestic dragons.
Even as Hello Games develops Light No Fire, they’ve consistently updated No Man’s Sky with exciting new content. In February, the Remnant update added customizable vehicles, the Gravitino Coil, and much more to the space exploration game. Since its launch, No Man’s Sky has received several major updates each year, with new content arriving roughly every two months. Light No Fire aims to continue this tradition, offering players another thrilling, procedurally-generated adventure.
