On September 1, the experimental branch of the game “No Man’s Sky” was launched, aiming to resolve several problems that players have faced within the game. Occasionally, Hello Games introduces experimental updates for the steam version of “No Man’s Sky” for testing purposes, and this most recent one aims to enhance the gaming experience overall.
The new patch for this latest experimental branch of the game was recently released, not long after Hello Games unveiled the Voyagers update for No Man’s Sky. This exciting update introduced customizable Corvette-class starships and a plethora of fresh content for players to explore. Yet, it also unearthed some new bugs that the development team is diligently working to fix.
For September 1st, Hello Games released an update for their experimental branch, aiming to rectify problems players have experienced due to the recent content additions. As per the patch details, multiple Corvette-class starship issues have been tackled, allowing you to stack up to 50 Corvette parts now. Furthermore, the workshop cache capacity has been boosted to 160. Various other fixes were carried out in this update, and several crashing glitches have been dealt with as well.

For PC gamers on Steam, there’s currently an experimental version of No Man’s Sky available, which includes recent updates not yet rolled out to the main game. To access it, players should go to their Steam library, right-click on the No Man’s Sky icon, and choose “Properties.” Then, in the “BETAS” tab, they can type “3xperimental” into the text field, click “Check Code,” and gain entry to the experimental branch. It’s advisable for PC players to back up their save files before joining this experimental branch, as Hello Games suggests. If you’re uncertain about how to back up your saves, they’ve offered a detailed explanation in a post on Steam.

These recent enhancements should significantly boost enjoyment for all the game’s numerous enthusiasts. Nevertheless, Hello Games requested feedback from beta testers on any problems they faced in the testing branch. It’s noteworthy that No Man’s Sky has experienced a remarkable resurgence in interest. The Voyagers update seems to be the reason behind this surge; since its release, the game has attracted over 90,000 concurrent players – a figure not seen since it debuted in 2016.
Looking forward to discovering what the future may bring for No Man’s Sky, as Hello Games is still developing Light No Fire and recent updates like Voyagers hint at potential expansions for the 2016 release. For now, players appear to have plenty to explore in this space-adventure game.
