The 5.56 update for No Man’s Sky has been released on PC platforms, with console versions expected to follow soon. Although it isn’t a major overhaul, it addresses significant problems that players have expressed frustration with since the Worlds Part 2 expansion launched on January 29, 2025.

Hello Games shared that they’re carefully considering your feedback, and they’ve found and addressed several problems. The solutions are now available in update 5.56, which has just gone live on Steam, and will be rolled out to other platforms as quickly as feasible.

No Man’s Sky 5.56 Update

In the latest update, version 5.56 of No Man’s Sky, certain problems have been addressed. For instance, a glitch in the Titan Expedition that misrepresented rewards as previously claimed has been rectified. Additionally, a bug preventing the completion of the floating Nautilon Chamber-building mission has been resolved.

Players of the PS5 edition can find joy knowing that the frustrating bug which halted gameplay in the previous generation has been addressed. Now, the reward system and mission goals within Titan Expedition operate seamlessly, providing a smooth and unhindered space exploration experience.
