Nvidia Announces GeForce RTX 50 Series Graphics Cards

At this year’s CES 2025, Nvidia officially showcased their upcoming GeForce RTX 50 Series graphics cards. This unveiling took place during the company’s keynote speech led by CEO Jensen Huang, marking a significant GPU release for the company after more than two years.

All told, Nvidia unveiled a quartet of new graphics cards: the RTX 5090, RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and the RTX 5070.

Starting in January, Blackwell introduces their new series of graphics cards with prices ranging from $549 to $1,999. The premium offering, the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090, retails for $1,999. Next comes the RTX 5080 priced at $999; then the RTX 5070 Ti is available for $749 and the entry-level RTX 5070 goes for $549. According to Huang, the RTX 5070 offers comparable performance to the previous generation’s RTX 4090, thanks to AI technology.

During the conference, no further information about the particular cards was disclosed. Nevertheless, more details have emerged from Nvidia and their partners following the event.
