Nvidia Isn’t Announcing A New GPU At CES 2026

CES 2026 has begun, and Nvidia once again held a keynote presentation. However, unlike previous years where CEO Jensen Huang typically unveiled a new graphics card for gamers, that wasn’t the focus this time around.

Nvidia has announced that it won’t be revealing any new graphics cards at its upcoming keynote on Monday, or during its GeForce On community update that same evening.

The highly anticipated RTX 50 Super graphics card isn’t expected to release immediately. Instead, Nvidia is likely to announce DLSS 4.5 at their upcoming event. This significant update to their technology will feature improved image upscaling and allow future RTX 50 series cards to boost frame rates up to six times.

It’s not surprising that there aren’t any new graphics cards being released right now. The PC industry is facing a lot of challenges. The growing demand for AI and data centers is creating shortages of key parts like storage and memory, which is driving up prices and making it hard for everyday users to get what they need.
