Nvidia To Reveal DLSS 4.5 At CES 2026

At CES 2026, Nvidia will unveil DLSS 4.5, a significant new version of its Deep Learning Super Sampling technology.

A recent Videocardz report indicates that DLSS 4.5 will include improvements to its Super Resolution technology, along with a new feature called ‘Dynamic Multi Frame Generation’.

Nvidia’s Super Resolution is getting an upgrade with a new, more advanced AI model. This improved model learns from a wider range of examples, making it more reliable and delivering noticeably better image quality – specifically, smoother motion, reduced blurring, and cleaner edges. With Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, users can expect their frame rates to increase by three to six times, depending on their chosen settings.

Nvidia’s DLSS 4.5 will be released through the Nvidia app and will work with several new games right away. However, its Dynamic Multi Frame Generation feature will be added at a later date.

According to reports, Nvidia will let users choose a specific frames-per-second (FPS) target within the app, up to the maximum rate their monitor supports. The system will then automatically adjust the number of frames created to try and hit that target.

DLSS 4.5 Super Resolution will work with GeForce RTX graphics cards ranging from the 20 series all the way to the 50 series and future models. However, the latest frame generation technology is only for the RTX 50 series and will launch in Spring 2026.
