Happy Monday! A new week means seven new chances to continue your NYT Connections streak. This puzzle is the perfect way to jumpstart your brain and prepare for whatever the day holds.
I’m back with helpful hints and solutions to help you solve today’s NYT Connections puzzle! Keep reading to find the answers.
What is NYT Connections?
I should probably give you some background information before sharing today’s hints for the NYT Connections game.
NYT Connections launched in June 2023 as the newest addition to the New York Times’ collection of games. It quickly became popular, and for good reason. This free game is easy to access for anyone around the world, whether they’re using a computer or the mobile app.
NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, whether you’re commuting or waiting for your coffee.
But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.
Each day, the New York Times will give you 16 words arranged in a grid. Your challenge is to organize these words into four groups of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and some words can be misleading, making it a bit challenging to solve.
As a fan, I really appreciate how they’ve color-coded the words! They’re yellow, blue, green, and purple, and that actually tells you how hard they are – yellow is the easiest, and purple is the toughest. It’s a clever way to help us choose challenges!
The important thing to remember is you only get four attempts each day. Use them all up, and you won’t be able to solve today’s NYT Connections puzzle – you’ll lose the game.
