Happy Monday! It’s the start of a new week and the second-to-last month of the year. What’s the best way to kick things off? By solving the daily NYT Connections puzzle, of course! I’m here to give you hints and solutions to help you solve it quickly and easily.
Read on to get today’s NYT Connections hints without any delay.
What is NYT Connections?
Before I share today’s hints for NYT Connections, I want to quickly give some background information.
NYT Connections launched in June 2023 as the newest addition to the New York Times’ collection of games. It quickly became popular, and for good reason. Being a free and easily accessible New York Times game, it’s available to players around the world on both computers and mobile devices.
NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, like during your commute or while waiting for a drink.
But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.
Each day, the New York Times will give you 16 words arranged in a grid. Your job is to group them into four sets of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and some words can be misleading, making it a bit challenging.
The words are also color-coded to show how challenging they are: yellow is the easiest, followed by blue, then green, and finally purple, which is the most difficult.
It’s important to remember you only get four tries each day. Use them all up, and you won’t be able to solve today’s NYT Connections puzzle – that’s when the game ends.
