I’ve got all the hints and solutions right here if you’re stuck, and trust me, you’re probably going to need them. Let me save you some frustration and share what I figured out – check it out below so you can finally enjoy your weekend!

NYT Connections hints await!

What is NYT Connections?

I should probably give you some background information before diving into today’s NYT Connections hints and clues.

NYT Connections launched in June 2023 as the newest game from the New York Times, and it quickly became popular. It’s easy to understand why – the game is free, anyone can play, and it’s available globally on computers or through the mobile app.

NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, whether you’re commuting or waiting for something like coffee.

But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.

Each day, the New York Times will give you 16 words arranged in a grid. Your job is to sort those words into four groups of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and sometimes the words can be misleading, making it a bit challenging.

As a fan, I really appreciate how they’ve color-coded the words! It makes learning so much easier. They’re colored yellow, blue, green, and purple, and that actually shows you how hard they are – yellow being the easiest and purple being the most challenging. It’s a really clever way to help us progress!

It’s important to remember you only get four tries each day in NYT Connections. Use them all, and you won’t be able to play anymore – that’s game over.
