Happy Friday! Hopefully you’re still on a roll with today’s NYT Connections puzzle. If I can help you solve it, that would make my day. Find the clues and solutions below – just scroll down to see them and check the boxes!
What is NYT Connections?
I should probably give you some background information before diving into today’s NYT Connections hints and clues.
NYT Connections launched in June 2023 as the newest addition to the New York Times’ collection of games. It quickly became popular, and for good reason. This free game is easy to access for anyone around the world, playable on computers or through the mobile app.
NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, whether you’re commuting or waiting for something like coffee.
But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.
Okay, so every day the New York Times gives you 16 words, and it’s my job to group them into four sets of four! The trick is figuring out what those words have in common. It’s surprisingly challenging because there’s only one right answer, and sometimes a word could almost fit into multiple groups. It really makes you think!
The words are also color-coded – yellow, blue, green, and purple – to show how challenging they are. They go from easiest to hardest in that order.
It’s important to remember you only get four tries each day. Use them all up, and you won’t be able to solve today’s NYT Connections – the game will be over.
