Happy Friday! It’s time for hints and solutions to today’s NYT Connections puzzle. This one is proving tricky, so I’m here to give you a helping hand before the weekend begins and hopefully keep your winning streak alive.
Read on to get today’s NYT Connections hints and solutions in just a few seconds.
What is NYT Connections?
I should probably give you some background information before sharing today’s hints for the NYT Connections game.
NYT Connections launched in June 2023 as the newest game from the New York Times, and it quickly became popular. The game is free to play and easy to access on computers or mobile devices, making it available to players all over the world.
NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, whether you’re commuting or waiting for your coffee.
But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.
Each day, the New York Times Connections game gives you a set of 16 words. Your goal is to divide them into four groups of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and some words can be misleading, making it a fun challenge!
The words are also color-coded to show how challenging they are: yellow is the easiest, followed by blue, then green, and finally purple, which is the most difficult.
It’s important to remember you only get four attempts each day with NYT Connections. Use them all, and you won’t be able to play anymore – that’s the end of the game.
