However, it’s important to note that a fairly advanced character level is usually required to obtain them.
Fortunately, you don’t always have to advance to higher levels and depend on random encounters for finding Grand Soul Gems in Oblivion Remastered. Certain areas within the game are specifically designed to hold one or multiple Grand Soul Gems. However, it’s important to note that some of these gems may be secured with a tough lock or hidden behind groups of enemies.
Guaranteed Grand Soul Gem Locations
- Chorrol Mages Guild: Inside, you will find two display cases with two and three Grand Soul Gems, respectively. The case on the main floor has a very hard lock.
- Squandered Mine: One Grand Soul Gem on the lower level.
- Drakelowe: One Grand Soul Gem in the basement.
- Arcane University: You will find one Gem in the Mage’s Quarters, as well as three more in the Arch-Mage’s Lobby.
- Nornal: One Gem lies in the ruins.
- Crayfish Cave: Players will find another Grand Soul Gem here.
Possible Grand Soul Gem Locations
