Oda May Have Already Chosen the Next Big Arc for One Piece Fans

This article contains spoilers from One Piece’s Elbaf Arc.

Summary

  • Elbaf arc will lead to major wars in the future of One Piece.
  • The Holy Knights are not the main enemies in the Elbaf arc.
  • The next big arc after Elbaf could involve a war on Pirate Island.

The popular series “One Piece” has now reached the Elbaf storyline, an episode eagerly anticipated by fans for more than two decades. Previously hinted at by Oda, the narrative is now delving deep into this captivating arc. Interestingly, Elbaf marks the beginning of the Final Saga, with Egghead serving as the entrance to this grand tale, while Elbaf itself provides a glimpse of the war that lies ahead for readers.

Without a doubt, Elbaf has been nothing short of remarkable thus far, as the Holy Knights have taken action, and even more significantly, Luffy and his Straw Hat Crew encountered Loki. There’s plenty more about Elbaf that remains to be discovered. With all that in mind, Elbaf will serve as a prelude for the major conflicts yet to unfold in the future of One Piece. In fact, Oda has hinted at the next significant arc that may follow Elbaf, and fans are eagerly anticipating its arrival.

Elbaf Will Take Two Years Or More To Finish

  • The Holy Knights Aren’t The Main Enemies
  • Luffy Will Face A Bigger Threat

So far, the Elbaf storyline in One Piece has been unfolding for approximately 8 months and covers more than 20 chapters. This part of the series is proving to be extraordinary, as Oda introduces captivating characters and enriches the narrative with a wealth of intriguing lore. Additionally, the Elbaf arc has featured enthralling battles involving the Holy Knights, which have left fans eagerly anticipating each new development.

Elbaf and the Giants will bow down to the World Government! — Shamrock Figarland

From my perspective, it’s evident that the Holy Knights presently active in Elbaf, namely Sommers, Gunko, and Killingham, aren’t the primary antagonists of this arc. The land of Elbaf holds far greater threats for the Straw Hat Pirates, indicating that this storyline is far from concluding. Currently, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji find themselves in the Underworld of Elbaf, where the intricacies surrounding Loki are gradually unfolding. As this unfolds, viewers can anticipate a plethora of captivating events to unfold as well, perhaps even leading to the arrival of a major villain in the Warlands.

The Next Arc Could Be The Pirate Island

The War On Pirate Island Will Begin Soon

For approximately the next two years, Elbaf’s storyline is set to unfold, yet fans anticipate an even greater level of turmoil in the future. The Revolutionary Army has initiated actions against the World Government, but this is just the beginning. More significantly, Blackbeard now holds Garp captive and seeks direct negotiations with the Government. Garp’s capture, coupled with Shirahoshi’s peril, and Blackbeard’s provocations towards the World Government, all point to an imminent confrontation on Pirate Island. This conflict is likely to involve the Navy clashing with the Blackbeard Pirates, possibly SWORD too, and other major powers are expected to join in as well.

We lost Koby, but we have an even bigger prize! — Blackbeard

Given Luffy’s character, it’s clear he’ll make an effort to rescue Garp. Additionally, Pudding is held captive by Blackbeard, and there are fears that Shirahoshi might be in danger as well from him. Consequently, Luffy may need to briefly divert his course to Pirate Island soon, due to these potential threats.
