Mega Evolution has significantly changed the Pokemon TCG Pocket meta since it was introduced last year, and the upcoming Fantastical Parade expansion will likely continue that trend. Releasing on January 28th, Fantastical Parade adds over 200 new cards to the game, featuring several new Mega Evolutions and a completely new type of card.
Like other Pokemon TCG Pocket releases, the new Fantastical Parade cards will become available at slightly different times around the world. Players in North America can start collecting the cards on January 28th, while everyone else will be able to find them the next day.

The Pokémon TCG’s new expansion, Fantastical Parade, will be released at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on January 28th. This is a bit different than usual, as new sets typically launch with the start of the in-game day. A chart is available to help you find the release time in your specific time zone. Players outside of North America will get the expansion on January 29th, approximately five hours earlier than the standard release time.
To save your pack stamina, try not to open any packs for 24 hours before new ones are released.
What New Cards Are in Fantastical Parade?

The new trailer for the Fantastical Parade expansion revealed a lot of exciting cards, including two new Mega Evolutions. Mega Gardevoir stands out as a particularly strong card, similar to Genetic Apex Gardevoir, and could be a great support for powerful Psychic-type Pokémon like Mewtwo ex. New Stadium cards, like Peculiar Plaza, make Mega Gardevoir ex even more useful, especially for players who already have a good collection of Psychic-type cards. However, these are just a few of the over 200 new cards coming in the Fantastical Parade expansion, so Pokémon TCG Pocket players have a lot to anticipate!
