Official PS Plus Free Games for April 2026 Finally Revealed

PlayStation has announced the free games coming to PS Plus in April 2026. They’ll be available starting Tuesday, April 7th, and include Lords of the Fallen (2023) and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream. The announcement was a little later than some fans anticipated – it was expected around a week ago – but a smooth transition between March and April releases seemed to cause a slight delay.

The extra time before the announcement was good news for PlayStation Plus subscribers eager to find out which new games were coming. Billbil-Kun, a trusted source of information, usually only reveals one main game each month. This time, however, the delay allowed them to share two titles – Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream – before PlayStation officially confirmed the full lineup arriving on April 7th.

PlayStation has announced the free games coming to PS Plus in April 2026: Lords of the Fallen and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, among others.

Lords of the Fallen (2023) PS5 40 Hours FAIR: 73 Top Critic Average $29.99
Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered PS5 ~30 Hours STRONG: 75 Top Critic Average $29.99

PS Plus subscribers have a couple of new games to enjoy. Lords of the Fallen is a challenging action RPG in the style of the Souls series, where you play as a crusader trying to prevent a dark god from returning. It adds a unique twist to the genre by letting you switch between the world of the living and a ghostly realm. Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream, on the other hand, is a big crossover event bringing together characters from across the entire Sword Art Online series. It’s an anime-style action RPG designed for cooperative play, allowing up to 20 players to team up for raids and missions.

The Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered collection brings Lara Croft’s original three adventures to a new generation. Players will explore ancient tombs, solve challenging puzzles, and battle enemies as they search for lost artifacts. The gameplay stays true to the originals, but now features updated graphics, improved controls, and the ability to switch between classic and modern visual styles. For PlayStation Plus subscribers, this remastered collection is a standout title.

PS Plus Subscribers Have Until April 7 to Download 4 Free Games

You still have a chance to add the PlayStation Plus free games for March 2026 to your library. Even if you don’t plan on playing them immediately, downloading them now lets you enjoy them anytime in the future, as long as you remain a PS Plus member. Here’s what’s available this month:

  • PGA Tour 2K25 (PS5)
  • Monster Hunter Rise (PS5, PS4)
  • Slime Rancher 2 (PS5)
  • The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road (PS5, PS4)

So, this month’s PS Plus games have a little bit of everything, even if they’re not all mainstream titles. I’m pretty hyped about PGA Tour 2K25 – I love a good, realistic golf game where I can build my career. Monster Hunter Rise is more my speed when I want action – tons of big monsters to take down and gear to collect. If I’m looking for something chill, Slime Rancher 2 lets me just wander around and raise adorable slimes, which sounds perfect. And then there’s The Elder Scrolls Online Collection: Gold Road – a huge online world where I can lose myself in quests and adventures with other players. It’s a great way to jump into the world of Tamriel if you haven’t already!
