Upon Jiji’s arrival, I found myself witnessing a complex web of emotions unfolding before me as Okarun grappled with the emergence of a potential rival in his feelings for Momo. To add to the intrigue, this newcomer was none other than Momo’s former crush and first love. Despite Aira Shiratori having openly professed her affections for Okarun, he remains steadfastly fixated on Momo. Now that Jiji is in the picture, it seems Okarun is resolved to pursue Momo’s heart, all while navigating through the competition posed by three additional suitors.

I, an onlooker, have noticed that Shiratori Aira seems to have a knack for awkward mishaps, as she recently found herself in possession of one of Okarun’s family heirlooms. After witnessing the extraordinary powers of Momo and Okarun, I can’t help but wonder if they possess supernatural abilities, leading me to speculate that they might be demons. However, Aira also seems to share an aura of agility similar to Acrobatic Silky. Post-incident, Aira has developed feelings for Okarun and is the only one openly expressing these emotions, frequently declaring her love for him during their interactions.

Afterward, Aira seems convinced that confessing feelings to someone you like involves a kiss, an idea she picked up from some suggestive magazines she found in her father’s library. Following the defeat of the monstrous creature, later identified as Vamola, who was believed to possess Okarun’s family treasure, Vamola swiftly kissed Okarun upon his removal from the Kaiju suit. Unfortunately, this moment also marked Momo’s recovery from being inside the robot controlled by Sakata Kinta. Previously, Okarun could prevent Aira from kissing him when she announced her intention, but he was unable to halt Vamola’s sudden advance. In this situation, Okarun reacted too slowly to prevent the kiss and justified it by stating he was “dazed” and found Vamola “very attractive,” which unfortunately led to tension between him and Momo.

Okarun has built up a variety of romantic connections across the series, with characters such as Momo, Aira, Vamola, and perhaps Sawaki Rin. Her increasing guardianship over him might be a sign of her deepening feelings for him. Yet, it’s important to note that this could solely stem from his Turbo Granny transformation which gives him the appearance of a vampire.

In Chapter 159, Momo acknowledges and criticizes the deepening affections of other women towards her, while also causing trouble for Okarun due to her own feelings for him. Yet, she continues to be their trusted friend. It’s clear that Okarun harbors feelings for Momo, which is why he stays loyal to her, even though Rin has not yet expressed romantic interest in Okarun.
