It’s an incredible advantage that truly makes this gear stand out!

A Combo Package

As a fan, if asked to single out my top pick, it would undoubtedly be the Marine Star Festering Gel. This fantastic item boosts your weapon or status damage by an impressive 5%, and this bonus persists until you need to reload. To make things even better, it also provides healing for nearby characters.

I used this Festering Gel during my progress through the second phase of the LEA Lab Challenge against Dr. Mannheim. The gel is also effective when tackling the Forsaken Giant challenge alone, as it can expose you to its powerful sweeping attacks.

The Toxicologist – Dark Rebel trait implies it has the ability to retrieve Acid from expeditions, yet the probability or likelihood of this occurrence remains unspecified, leaving me yearning for more clarity.

Without knowing the odds, I can’t guarantee you’ll consistently farm Acid. At best, you might encounter it sporadically, but a continuous supply isn’t likely.

In the larger version of the Growshroom, it naturally boosts mood by 40%. This means if your Growshroom’s default mood without any additional traits is 100, with the Optimism – Extra Large trait, its mood will increase to 140. This is quite advantageous when considering Territory Deviations.

As a dedicated enthusiast, I can tell you that the Deviation thrives when it’s in the right spirit, making it excel at helping you cultivate and harvest your crops more swiftly than usual Growshrooms. However, be cautious about recharging its Deviant power. It’s wiser to strike a balance between managing the Deviant Power and maintaining the mood of your Territory Deviations for optimal results.

9 Growshroom – Green Touch

The Growshroom – Green Touch version possesses the Toxicologist – Green Touch Deviation feature, which might allow the Deviation to recapture Acid. Yet, similar to the Fetch-A-Lot Bunny Dark Rebel variant, the description does not specify the exact probability of this occurrence.

I tend to go for the Growshroom – Extra Large version because having a consistent effect is more desirable compared to a trait that relies on random chance.

8 The Digby Boy – Prism

A Beautiful Deviation

In simple terms, the Voluntary Overtime trait of the Prism variant for Digby Boy allows him to work without consuming mood. Approximately 15% of the time, this character will not need mood when performing overtime.

Investing in a premium version of Digby Boy – Prism is beneficial. An improved mood tends to enhance its functionality, leading to better results.

7 The Digby Boy – Pure Gold

Not That Impressive

As a gamer, I’d rephrase it like this: When I’m out exploring with my Pure Gold Digby Boy – The Gilded Oracle variant, it has a unique ability to gather extra gold nuggets instead of just the usual ores. This clarifies that my Digby Boy is specifically designed to find and farm gold, not silver or any other type of ore.

In this exploration, you might find some Aluminum or Tungsten minerals, not much else though. It makes for an interesting collection item, but I wouldn’t suggest it as your primary choice compared to the Prism variant.
