Once Human: Explore Holt Town Guide (Mystical, Weapon, and Armor Crate Locations)

As a seasoned gamer with decades of experience under my belt, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia when I come across a new exploration quest like “Explore Holt Town” in Once Human. The idea of delving into an open world and discovering hidden treasures is one that has always appealed to me, and this quest seems no different.

In the virtual world of “Chalk Peak” by “Once Human,” lies the place named Holt Town. A mission revolves around investigating this location, titled “Explore Holt Town.” This assignment requires players to: search for a Mystical Crate, encounter and vanquish common adversaries, locate Weapon and Armor Containers, and switch on a Rift Anchor. This manual will assist fans in tackling these objectives and successfully finish the “Explore Holt Town” quest within “Once Human.”

Holt Town is located at the coordinates -38.18, 4451.3. With a suggested player level of 30, this area is generally recommended for experienced gamers. However, those with finely tuned weapons in “Once Human” may be able to tackle it at a lower skill level.

Look for Mystical Crate

To find the Mystical Crate in Holt Town, players should first locate the building where the Rift Anchor is situated. This building is found in the northwestern part of Holt Town, and it has an entrance on its western side at ground level.

After entering this building, players need to proceed to the art exhibition zone. They can find an elevator in the southeastern part of the room on the ground floor. Once they reach the second floor by using the elevator, open-world game enthusiasts should exit and turn left. From there, they will spot some tables with a Rosetta V2 Access Card resting on one of them.

Using your access card, make your way to the yellow corridor located behind the recently utilized elevator. Reach the terminal at the corridor’s end, where you’ll need to engage in an interaction. This step grants entry to a research lab. Keep an eye out for the enigmatic crate, which is hidden within this space.

To the southeast of the Rift Anchor, there’s a purple crystal situated near a hedge. Touching this crystal leaves a path of crystals behind you, leading you to a second Mystical Crate.

Defeat Normal Enemies

In my gaming experience, I can finish this objective by selecting my preferred weapons in the game “Once Human” and eliminating 12 common adversaries in Holt Town.

Find Weapon and Armor Crates

Players have several crates to choose from for completing this mission, and I’ll tell you where to find four of them.

  • Weapon Crate 1: This Weapon Crate can be found in the building with the location’s Rift Anchor. More specifically, it is near the center of the exhibition room on the first floor, next to a series of bones that have been mounted to the wall.
  • Gear Crate 1: There is an elevator in the lab with the Mystical Crate, and players should use it to access a new area. After exiting the elevator, fans of survival games should make their way to the southeast corner of the building, and they will find a Gear Crate inside the dining room at that position.
  • Weapon Crate 2: There is a house with an open garage just southeast of the building with the Rift Anchor, and there is a drained pool behind it. A Weapon Crate is sitting in that pool.
  • Gear Crate 2: There is a building with a green roof in the northeast corner of Holt Town, and there is a Gear Crate behind it.

Activate Rift Anchor

The Rift Anchor at Holt Town’s peak, located northwest of the map, is clearly indicated. If a player encounters trouble activating it within “Once Human,” try advancing in the main storyline first, then revisit the Rift Anchor.
