Living in Once Human is a continuous battle for existence, as players must maintain their energy, hydration, and mental wellbeing, all while scavenging essential resources to construct tools and shelters. One of the many valuable resources you’ll encounter is the elusive Iridium Crystal, an uncommon crafting component vital for creating advanced weapons and equipment.
I’m sorry to say that Iridium Crystals aren’t found everywhere within the game. This means you’ll need to work doubly hard to collect them as they are not accessible in the early stages and can only be obtained after making some progress in the game. If you’re struggling to locate these crystals, here’s a guide to help you find the optimal spots for gathering Iridium Crystals.
How To Get Iridium Crystals
Iridium Crystals become accessible as a resource in the mid-game, which is around levels 31 to 40. After reaching this stage, venture into the Chalk Peak region and investigate areas tagged with a Rift Anchor symbol. These spots are:
- Holt Town
- Evergreen Vineyard
- Rotten Saddle
- Furnace Lair
Upon reaching these settlements, look for containers holding weapons, equipment, and storage boxes. These chests often contain blueprints for weapons, pieces of armor, and valuable resources such as Iridium Crystals. Notably, these containers refresh every four hours, so you can return to these areas regularly to gather additional Iridium Crystals.
Preparation is key when venturing into these zones, as they’re frequently teeming with powerful adversaries. Consider equipping yourself with weapons of at least Tier 3 for a smoother encounter.
Although Chalk Peak is typically advised for players at level 32 or higher, it’s possible for lower-level players to visit, as long as they avoid Elite opponents. Nevertheless, if your character is around level 25, you should find it quite manageable to defeat the enemies in these fortresses.
If you’ve run out of places to explore, head back to your starting point and wait four hours to find new treasures. You can use the Teleportation Towers to move around the map more quickly. Also, you can use these towers to switch between worlds for an additional opportunity.
How To Use Iridium Crystals
As a seasoned gamer in the world of Once Human, Iridium Crystals are my go-to for enhancing and improving my arsenal. These precious stones are essential for crafting Tier IV Weapons, a game-changing upgrade that becomes available at level 30. But that’s not all they’re good for! When I find myself in need of some extra Energy Links, I can always sell these crystals to various vendors for a neat 40 Energy Links apiece.
In the game “Once Human“, you have the freedom to trade these resources with any vendor. However, it’s advantageous to head to Deadsville first, as you can reach it early in the game. Locate Weber, the merchant near the entrance, and sell your goods to him to acquire Energy Links.
