Once Human: How To Get The Digby Boy Deviant

Once Human: How To Get The Digby Boy Deviant

As a seasoned player of Once Human, I can’t express enough my gratitude for the Digby Boy deviants. They have truly revolutionized my resource gathering and made my gameplay experience more enjoyable than ever.

As a gamer, I can tell you that the Digby Boy is an indispensable character in Once Human. Unlike other beings, they don’t contribute much to battles. But trust me, their presence is priceless! They go around and collect various ores for you, even those that aren’t near your base. It may not seem like much, but the time they save you is immeasurable.

Having a group of Digby Boys, not more than a few, excavate ores in your absence is an effective way to accumulate resources. Once you have acquired three of these cheerful miners, you will no longer need to mine manually in “Once Human.” These companions will remain with you even when you relocate your territory, making them valuable assets wherever you travel. To locate these helpful characters, follow the given instructions.

How To Get The Digby Boy In Once Human

As a gamer, I can tell you from my experience, Digby Boys are distinctly different from other deviants in the game. Unlike capturing them like common creatures, you have the thrill of discovering a Digby Boy while mining Silver Ore. The exact probability of finding one isn’t clear yet, but based on my gaming sessions, the chances seem quite favorable. Just keep mining an ore node until it runs dry, and who knows, you might just strike it rich with a Digby Boy! Mining Tin can also yield a Digby Boy, but the drop rates are significantly lower compared to Silver Ore.

Where To Find Silver Ore

Silver Ore is less common than other minerals such as Iron, and it shares a resemblance with Tin Ore, making it challenging to distinguish silver ore nodes immediately. They can be discovered in mineral deposits worldwide. The Meyer’s Market region holds a decent probability of having some silver ore nodes. If none are found there, consider traveling to another world using the teleporter tower and conducting further searches.

Later on, once you’ve finished tasks in Deadsville, Lowe – the man with glasses at a table – will present an assignment named “Deviation Master” for you. In this mission, he requests your help in locating a Digby Boy in Throughville. You can identify it by a quest marker on the ledge of a building. Gather 30 Copper Ores and give them to the Digby Boy; once transformed into a bubble, engage with the bubble to catch the Digby Boy. Then, make your way back to Lowe in Deadsville to complete the quest.

How To Use The Digby Boy

After capturing a Digby Boy, return to your base and construct an empty Isolation Cell. Engage with the cell, then place the Digby Boy inside. A suggestion for new players: aim to build numerous Isolation Cells at home to confine your deviants within them.

The Digby Boy continuously collects various minerals while its Deviant Power lasts. When it runs out, it rests peacefully in its confinement chamber until its Deviant Power reaches a designated level. You can adjust this level by clicking the gear icon on the right side of the screen when examining the deviant’s containment unit.

The Digby Boys will keep mining ores for you, even when you’re not online. Once you log back in, you can retrieve all the gathered ores by examining their inventory and pressing the “Claim All” button. Consider placing an ore chest close to your Digby Boys to prevent becoming overburdened if you attempt to collect all the mined ores yourself.
