In Once Human, if you’re aiming to set up a tranquil Acid farm, position your territories close to contaminated water sources. Identifying these areas can prove challenging for some players. Fret not, as this guide comes equipped with a map to ease your search for polluted waters in Once Human.
At Chalk Peak and Red Sands, you can find water contaminated with pollution. These locations have a difficulty level of 30 or higher. Most players seeking polluted water are likely to be able to handle enemies at this level, but it’s important for them to prepare beforehand.
Once Human: Polluted Water Areas Map
According to the map below, there are four spots where players searching for polluted water should focus. Three of these spots are located inside Red Sands and are situated near Blackfell, Evergreen, and the Alternate Reality Research Institute. The fourth spot is on Chalk Peak’s western side, making it an ideal choice for players looking to expand their territories in “Once Human” to a more secluded area.
No matter which area a player selects, it’s important for them to position their territory near a body of water. Players can later install a Water Pump, available once they have advanced to Tier 3 Logistics in “Once Human,” into the water and let it extract the contaminated liquid.
After beginning to draw contaminated water from a source, players have the option of purifying it using an Osmosis Water Purifier, which is a Tier 5 Logistics Memetic. This action results in the production of Impure Acid as a byproduct. Players can then convert this Impure Acid into regular Acid by constructing a Brewing Barrel (Logistics Tier 4), adding Pure Water to its upper compartment, and placing Impure Acid into the middle layer. Patience is required as the transformation process takes place.
In “Once Human,” transforming contaminated water into Acid is a time-consuming process. Players looking for a quick way to accumulate this resource may wish to explore alternative methods. Nonetheless, establishing a passive Acid farm is highly recommended due to its scarcity value; having an ample supply of Acid is almost indispensable.
