A recently updated build for Rafa in Borderlands 4 is incredibly powerful. This build lets players defeat enemies quickly without even shooting, relying instead on the Peacekeeper Cannons to do all the damage.
As soon as Borderlands 4 came out, players immediately started experimenting with different skills and weapons. The game has so many unique weapon effects, creating a lot of diverse character builds. This has naturally led to some incredibly powerful combinations. Fortunately, Gearbox has been quick to adjust things when needed, but they’ve avoided making unnecessary changes that would weaken popular builds.
Borderlands 4 AFK Rafa Build Gets Big Improvements
A popular build for Borderlands 4, created by YouTuber Moxsy, initially had some issues. It used the Peacebreaker Cannons to bounce elemental damage between enemies. Moxsy has since improved the build by adding the Mixologist affix, which combines the damage from their Maliwan shotgun with every shot from the cannons. If the shotgun also has the Beam Tosser alternate fire mode – known for its high damage – the resulting attacks can be incredibly powerful.
Another important part of this build is that Moxsy’s Enhancement has the Transfuser affix, which lets their active Status Effect spread to up to three enemies. This works incredibly well with the Peacebreaker Cannon in Borderlands 4, creating a very powerful combination. Moxsy says this is the quickest build they’ve used for taking out large groups of enemies, and it’s ideal for quickly and efficiently farming Drill Sites.
It’s enjoyable to discover incredibly strong character builds in Borderlands 4, but it’s risky to rely on just one. Powerful strategies often get adjusted (nerfed) by the developers, like what happened with the recently fixed Crit Knife build for Vex. We’re not saying this current Rafa build will definitely be nerfed, but players should keep that possibility in mind.
