Escape from Tarkov officially launched on November 15th with the release of version 1.0. A major addition in this new version is a story campaign with four different endings, each of which is very challenging to unlock.
An Escape from Tarkov developer shared on social media that reaching a late-game escape point would cost a massive 500 million rubles – about $6.2 million – to actually leave the game.
Escape from Tarkov’s Endings Are Nails
I just heard from Nikita Buyanov, the head of Battlestate Games, and he said that finishing Escape from Tarkov is going to be really hard. Apparently, only a small fraction of us players will actually see one of the four endings they’ve built. It’s a huge deal for the game, but honestly, it sounds like most of us won’t make it to the finish line!
We now know why.
A recent social media post by popular Escape from Tarkov creator Tigz showed that one of the game’s endings demands players turn over a massive 500 million rubles – that’s about $6.2 million! The tricky part is, players need to earn that much money while also paying for everything needed to get the money in the first place.

Most players will find this ending very difficult, if not impossible, to reach. Earning that much money in Escape from Tarkov requires a huge time commitment, even for experienced players.
Escape from Tarkov currently focuses heavily on long-term progression, making it achievable but incredibly demanding. It’s a very repetitive process that will likely exhaust many players.
People reacted to the goal in the comments section. Some made light of it, with one user saying it would take ‘a lot of successful Scav runs.’ Others were unhappy with it, calling it a boring and repetitive task with no real enjoyment factor.
