One Piece: 10 Future Straw Hat Power Ups In The Final Saga, Ranked

The final arc of One Piece is now happening, and the Straw Hat Pirates are at the heart of it. To defeat the incredibly strong leaders who control the seas, the Straw Hats need to become even more powerful, and the author, Oda, has been steadily giving them new abilities. Even though they’re already very strong, hints throughout the story suggest even more exciting power-ups are still to come for the Straw Hat crew.

Nico Robin: Haki

Nico Robin is already a very strong fighter, capable of battling even powerful opponents like Black Maria, a high-ranking officer of one of the Yonko. However, to truly reach her potential as part of the future Pirate King’s crew, she needs to become even more powerful. Many fans believe the best way to achieve this is for her to master Haki, an ability she’s long been expected to awaken.

Robin might also unlock the full potential of her Devil Fruit powers. She’s already pushed her abilities as far as possible with Demonio Fleur, but awakening those powers could make her even more powerful. Right now, she’s at her strongest, but there’s still room to grow.

Franky: Super Vega Cola

Franky recently got a significant power boost in the latest part of the story, and we’ll see him using it more and more as things progress. He received this boost, called Super Vega Cola, from Vegapunk using special machines in Elbaf. Although it hasn’t been fully showcased yet, it will become crucial during the upcoming major battles in Elbaf and beyond.

Franky is getting a major power-up thanks to a new cola, and fans are incredibly excited to see what happens next!

Chopper: Devil Fruit Awakening

Chopper’s strength clearly comes from his Devil Fruit powers. He’s already maximized what his fruit can do with Rumble Balls, but he hasn’t fully awakened its potential yet.

Future storylines in One Piece will show Chopper pushing his abilities further than ever before. When he unlocks the full potential of his Devil Fruit, it will create incredible new opportunities, allowing him to effectively fight even the strongest opponents.

Brook: Devil Fruit Awakening

Brook’s strength has always come from his Devil Fruit, and unlocking its full potential – awakening it – is the most likely path to make him even stronger in the final part of the story. He’s already pushed the limits of what his fruit can do, so awakening it is the next logical step.

Jinbe: Haki Upgrade

Jinbe, the Helmsman, is already incredibly strong – one of the most powerful people in the world. However, to help Luffy become Pirate King, he needs to become even stronger. Specifically, Jinbe needs to improve his mastery of Haki. Currently, he only uses the fundamental forms of Haki, but learning advanced techniques like Ryuo or advanced Observation Haki would make him a truly formidable force.

Honestly, I’m so excited about Jinbe’s potential! I really think with a bit more development, he could go toe-to-toe with the strongest fighters like Katakuri or King. Right now, though, he’s not quite there yet – we saw that in his fight with Gunko. Even with help from the rest of the Straw Hats, she completely overpowered him, and it was a tough match to watch.

Nami: Haki

While Nami isn’t a frontline fighter for the Straw Hat Pirates, she still needs to become more powerful to handle the strong enemies within the World Government. Like every member of the crew, Nami needs to significantly increase her abilities.

Giving Nami Haki would be the most impactful power-up Oda could give her. She’s already a powerful fighter with Zeus and her Climatact, and adding Haki would significantly boost both her attack and defense, making her even more dependable in battle.

Usopp: Haki

Usopp has already begun receiving Haki as a way to become stronger. He demonstrated Observation Haki during the Dressrosa arc, but hasn’t used it much since. The next logical step for his development would be to consistently utilize this ability and then learn Armament Haki.

Usopp is poised to become much stronger with his current abilities, and there’s a good chance he could even unlock Conqueror’s Haki, considering his story development. While it’s uncertain if the author will grant him this power, it’s definitely a possibility. The final arc of the series promises to be huge for Usopp and the entire Straw Hat crew.

Zoro: Full Conqueror’s Haki Control

Oda has indicated that Zoro’s next major power boost will involve Conqueror’s Haki. Although Zoro can currently use this power with his sword, Enma, he doesn’t have full control over it. Enma is essentially doing the work for him, meaning Zoro’s command of Conqueror’s Haki is currently weak.

Zoro needs to become much stronger, and the final part of the story will likely show him mastering his Haki, allowing him to reach a new level of power.

Sanji: Conqueror’s Haki

Sanji is becoming a stronger fighter in the final part of the story, and his journey to Elbaf has already made him much more powerful. The biggest improvement we’ll likely see from him in this arc, and throughout the rest of the series, is a mastery of Conqueror’s Haki.

I’ve been noticing hints throughout the story that Sanji possesses Conqueror’s Haki, it’s just waiting to be unlocked. Considering the Straw Hats are likely going to face incredibly powerful opponents like the Holy Knights and even the Five Elders, I fully expect to see Sanji awaken this ability soon – it feels almost certain.

Luffy: High-Level Conqueror’s Haki

Currently, the most significant way for Luffy to become stronger is by mastering advanced Conqueror’s Haki. He’s already unlocked the full potential of his Devil Fruit powers, so improving his Haki is now key to overcoming the World Government’s strongest fighters, as Scopper Gabban recently emphasized.

Luffy needs to become significantly stronger, and it’s probable he’ll gain new abilities related to Conqueror’s Haki during the final arc of the story. This is largely because Shanks is far more skilled with Conqueror’s Haki, and Luffy needs to reach a comparable level.
