Yet, following the fall of Kaido, the Heart Pirates encountered difficulties of their own. They clashed against another Emperor, Blackbeard, and several of his captains. The ensuing battle resulted in the destruction of their submarine, the Polar Tang. Only two confirmed survivors of this attack were Law and Bepo, his trusted second-in-command.
