One Piece: 7 Arcs To Come After Elbaf

This article contains spoilers for the One Piece series.

The popular manga and anime series *One Piece* has begun its final story arc, starting with the Egghead arc and continuing with Elbaf. So far, the Elbaf arc has been a standout, featuring shocking moments like the reveal of Imu as the main villain and the long-awaited God Valley flashback.

Even though Elbaf promises to be amazing, there are still many more thrilling storylines coming in *One Piece*. As the final war approaches, these future arcs are likely to be even more epic than anything we’ve seen so far.

Pirate Island Arc

The Arc Where Blackbeard Faces The World

I’m really anticipating the ‘Pirate Island’ arc in *One Piece*. It’s where Blackbeard and his crew are currently hanging out, and it feels like things are building towards a huge showdown between them and the Straw Hat Pirates. It looks like the Navy will get involved too, making it a three-way conflict that’s sure to be epic.

Blackbeard has taken some powerful hostages, including Garp, a highly respected figure in the Navy. This means Luffy will likely feel compelled to rescue his grandfather, and saving Pudding will also be crucial. Ultimately, Luffy must defeat Blackbeard if he wants to achieve his dream of becoming the Pirate King.

Lodestar Island Arc

The Final Grand Line Island

Lodestar Island hasn’t been explored much in the story so far, and a lot about it remains unknown. However, it’s certain to play a crucial role in the larger story of *One Piece*. Lodestar Island is the last island on the Grand Line reachable using a Log Pose – the standard navigation method. It’s where Roger discovered the Poneglyphs, and it’s where the Straw Hat Pirates are destined to go if they continue following the Log. Despite being reachable, it’s incredibly difficult to get to; in the last 800 years, only the Roger Pirates have successfully made the journey.

Moon Arc

The Truth Of The One Piece World Will be Revealed

The Moon plays a crucial role in the story of One Piece, and its mysteries will be fully uncovered in the final part of the series. It was once populated and could hold the key to understanding the world’s history. Currently, the character Enel is living on the Moon and is expected to be a major player when the story focuses on it.

Considering the winged people in One Piece originate from the moon, and that advanced technology linked to the Motherflame also comes from there, the discoveries ahead will be significant. We’ll likely learn more about the history of both the Lunarians and those with the ‘D’ in their name.

New Marineford Arc

A New Rescue Arc for Garp Or Luffy

The battle of Marineford was the high point of the One Piece manga, driving sales to their highest levels as Oda crafted an incredibly intense war. However, the Final Saga could potentially feature an even larger conflict, possibly taking place in a new location resembling Marineford.

Similar to the events at Marineford, we might see a large-scale rescue operation unfold. Rocks mentioned wanting to eliminate the Navy before challenging the World Government, which suggests Blackbeard could soon attack the Navy, particularly while the Revolutionary Army is distracting them. This could lead to Garp facing execution, mirroring Ace’s situation at Marineford. The conflict may primarily involve Blackbeard and the World Government.

Laugh Tale Arc

The Arc Where Luffy Becomes the Pirate King

Laugh Tale is the last island in the One Piece world, located beyond Lodestar Island. It’s where crucial events from the past will be revealed. The Roger Pirates are the only crew known to have ever reached it, as it holds the legendary One Piece treasure. Whoever finds this treasure will become the Pirate King. Many believe a major showdown between all potential Pirate Kings will happen there, with Luffy playing a key role. This island is expected to uncover the biggest mystery of the entire series.

Great War Arc

The World Government Will Fall

Eiichiro Oda is setting the stage for a massive war to conclude the *One Piece* story, far exceeding the scale of the Marineford arc. This final conflict, known as the Great War, will pit Luffy and his crew against the ultimate villain, Imu. Luffy won’t be alone; all of his allies will fight alongside him against the World Government. Unlike Joy Boy, Luffy is destined to finally defeat Imu.

Post-War Arc

The Final Arc of One Piece

Now that Luffy has become Pirate King and the final battle is over, the next big story arc will likely focus on what happens afterward. This ‘post-war’ arc will show us the fate of the Straw Hat crew and other characters, and how the world changes after the World Government falls. This arc is expected to be the conclusion of the entire *One Piece* series.

The next chapter of One Piece, Chapter 1162, will be released next week on Sunday. While it becomes available in Japan at midnight on Monday (JST), most international fans will be able to read it on October 12, 2025. The chapter will be available for free on Manga Plus.
