One Piece: 7 Characters That Need New Bounties After Elbaf Arc

As the story of One Piece reaches its climax, the seas are becoming increasingly dangerous, and pirates are becoming more ruthless. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, aren’t the only ones growing stronger – many other pirates seeking the legendary One Piece are also making significant progress and earning recognition. With the current Elbaf arc nearing its end, the balance of power among pirates will shift, and many will receive updated bounties reflecting their increased strength and influence.

Hajrudin

Current Bounty: Unknown

Hajrudin used to be just a commander within the Straw Hat Fleet, but it’s becoming obvious he’s destined for greater things. With the potential to become one of the Kings of Elbaf, he’s likely to become much more powerful. His current battles alongside Zoro will almost certainly result in a new bounty being issued for him.

By the time the Elbaf arc concludes, Hajrudin will be well-prepared to face the challenges of the One Piece world, and a new, higher bounty is very likely to follow.

Franky

Current Bounty: 394 Million Berries

The Straw Hat Pirates are having a strong run in the Elbaf arc, and Franky has really stood out. He received a significant power boost with Super Vega Cola, which allowed him to effortlessly destroy the MMA Projections.

I’ve been watching Franky, and he’s become incredibly powerful. It’s clear the World Government has to be aware of this change. His current bounty is 394 million berries, but honestly, given how strong he’s become, I think it should be well over 500 million now.

Usopp

Current Bounty: 500 Million Berries

Usopp is central to the story in Elbaf, more so than any other member of the Straw Hat Pirates. While his role hasn’t been fully revealed yet in this part of the story, it’s clear Eiichiro Oda has significant plans for him. With a current bounty of 500 million berries, it’s almost certain Usopp will receive an increase soon.

After the events on Elbaf, it would be a great time for Usopp to get a new bounty, especially if he grows a lot as a character and becomes more powerful during this arc. Usopp is already shaping up to be a really interesting character in Elbaf, and hopefully, the author will use this chance to help him reach his full potential. It wouldn’t be surprising if his bounty increased to around a billion berries after the arc, not just because he’ll be stronger, but also because his bounties are often played for laughs and based on misunderstandings.

Roronoa Zoro

Current Bounty: 1.111 Billion Berries

Zoro is a key fighter for the Straw Hat Pirates and an incredibly skilled swordsman. During the Elbaf arc, he’s significantly improved his abilities. A major focus for him has been strengthening his Conqueror’s Haki, and he’s made good progress so far. He’s expected to become even more powerful as the story continues.

After the story arc on Elbaf island, Zoro is expected to become a dramatically stronger fighter, potentially reaching a level comparable to the most powerful characters in the One Piece world – the Emperors and the Admirals. Because of this massive power increase, fans anticipate a new bounty for Zoro that reflects his strength, and a figure around 2 billion berries would be incredibly exciting to see.

Sanji

Current Bounty: 1.032 Billion Berries

Sanji is a key member of the Straw Hat Pirates, serving as their cook and one of Luffy’s most powerful fighters – considered a ‘Wing’ on the path to becoming Pirate King. He recently demonstrated his incredible strength in the Elbaf Arc, easily defeating St. Killingham. Sanji continues to grow more powerful with each new challenge, and he’s expected to play a significant role as the Elbaf Arc progresses, further solidifying his reputation.

Following the events on Elbaf, Sanji should receive a significantly increased bounty, potentially around 2 billion berries. He’ll likely be capable of challenging even the Admirals and Emperors without much difficulty. If he also masters Conqueror’s Haki during that arc, a higher bounty would be even more justified.

Loki

Current Bounty: 2.6 Billion Berries

Loki, also known as the Accursed Prince of Elbaf, is a unique figure with a complicated reputation. He’s been at sea for 14 years, causing trouble for the first eight, which earned him a bounty of 2.6 billion berries. The World Government marked this bounty as ‘special,’ though the reason remains a mystery – something Eiichiro Oda will likely explain later. Now that it’s been revealed Loki is actually Nidhogg, the legendary dragon of Elbaf, he’s sure to receive an updated bounty.

Loki’s power rivals that of the strongest pirates in One Piece, the Yonko, and he could even be more powerful – capable of immense destruction. A bounty of 2.6 billion berries doesn’t reflect his true threat. Whether he joins the Straw Hats, adventures alone, or takes control of Elbaf, Loki deserves a significantly higher bounty – exceeding 4 billion berries wouldn’t be shocking to fans.

Monkey D. Luffy

Current Bounty: 3 Billion Berries

After the events at Elbaf, Monkey D. Luffy is the character most deserving of a significantly increased bounty. While he’s already a powerful Emperor of the Sea with a 3 billion berry price on his head, that amount likely doesn’t reflect his true threat level.

Even though Luffy defeated Kaido and accomplished more than Kid and Law, his new bounty was surprisingly similar to theirs. Considering how much stronger Luffy has become – mastering Gear 5 and greatly improving his Conqueror’s Haki – and given Kaido’s bounty of 4.61 billion berries, Luffy’s current bounty feels too low. After his experiences in Elbaf, Luffy will be even more powerful, and his bounty should reflect that. It’s likely his next bounty will be around 4 billion berries, or potentially even higher, after the events in the Giant’s land.
