One Piece: 7 New Gen Pirate With Yonko Potential

In the world of One Piece, the Yonko – also called the Four Emperors – are incredibly powerful pirates. They each control large areas of the New World, similar to how kings rule countries. The original Yonko were Whitebeard, Shanks, Big Mom, and Kaido. However, following the recent events in Wano, the group has changed, and new Emperors have taken their place.

Currently, the most powerful pirates – known as the Yonko – are Luffy, Blackbeard, Buggy, and Shanks, who remains in his position. While Buggy isn’t as strong as the others, several up-and-coming pirates have the potential to become Yonko themselves in the future.

Boa Hancock

Position: Empress Of Amazon Lily
Devil Fruit: Mero Mero no Mi
Haki: Armament, Observation, Conqueror’s

Boa Hancock, also known as the Pirate Empress, comes from Amazon Lily, an island inhabited only by women. She’s a very powerful pirate who leads the Kuja Pirates. Until recently, she was part of a group called the Shichibukai, and was considered one of its strongest members.

Boa Hancock is a remarkably powerful pirate, often considered to be on the same level as the Yonko – the most powerful pirates in the world. She’s a master of all three types of Haki and has an incredibly strong Devil Fruit, the Mero Mero no Mi, which allows her to turn people to stone. Blackbeard himself has acknowledged that Hancock could defeat a Yonko, making her a force to be reckoned with.

Trafalgar D. Water Law

Devil Fruit: Ope Ope no Mi
Haki: Armament, Observation

Trafalgar Law has become a major character in One Piece, especially since the Punk Hazard arc. He’s developed a lot since teaming up with Luffy, and played a crucial role in defeating the Emperors during the Wano Country arc. Working with Kid, Law successfully forced Yonko Big Mom to fall from Onigashima. This impressive feat resulted in a bounty of 3 billion berries, demonstrating how close he is to being a Yonko himself.

I’ve noticed that Law possesses something incredibly rare and powerful: the Ope Ope no Mi Devil Fruit. It’s considered one of the most valuable fruits still out there in the world of One Piece, and it’s what truly sets him apart as a pirate.

Eustass Kid

Position: Worst Generation Member
Devil Fruit: Jiki Jiki no Mi
Haki: Armament, Observation, Conqueror’s

Like Trafalgar Law, Eustass Kid was a key player in the events of Wano. Together, they successfully fought and defeated Yonko Big Mom. During the Wano arc, Kid also revealed his awakened Devil Fruit powers, proving how powerful he’s become.

Furthermore, Kid possesses mastery of all three types of Haki, a rare ability among his generation of pirates. If he survives, he has the potential to become one of the Four Emperors in the final arc of One Piece.

Yamato

Position: Guardian Deity of Wano
Devil Fruit: Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami

Fans first encountered Yamato during the Onigashima arc. As the sole child of Yonko Kaido, Yamato quickly proved to be a powerful and remarkable character. They notably managed to fight Kaido and hold him off until Luffy could return, even landing some blows – something no one else was capable of at that time.

Yamato possesses a rare and powerful Devil Fruit called the Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Okuchi no Makami, which is a Mythical Zoan type. They are also skilled in Conqueror’s Haki, a rare ability that only a few characters – and currently just three women – have demonstrated.

Jewelry Bonney

I was totally shocked when it was revealed how young Jewelry Bonney actually is! For years, we all thought she was one of the powerful adults in the Worst Generation when she was first introduced in Sabaody. Turns out, she’s only 12 years old right now – it’s a crazy twist!

Even though she’s very young, Bonney is remarkably powerful. She’s mastered two types of Haki early in life, and skillfully uses her Toshi Toshi no Mi Devil Fruit. This fruit allows her to transform into Nika and gain incredible abilities, like the Gear 5 transformation.

Bonney has incredible potential for growth, and like Big Mom and Kaido, she’s demonstrated significant power from a young age. This makes her stand out as one of the few characters to possess such strength as a child.

Charlotte Katakuri

Position: Ruler of Totland
Devil Fruit: Mochi Mochi no Mi
Haki: Armament, Observation, Conqueror’s

Charlotte Katakuri is the son of a former Emperor of the Sea, Big Mom. He’s already mastered his Devil Fruit ability, the Mochi Mochi no Mi, and awakened its full potential. However, like characters such as Sir Crocodile around the same age, he still has the potential to become even stronger.

Katakuri is a highly skilled Haki user in the world of One Piece, though he’s still capable of becoming even stronger. Now that Big Mom has been defeated, Katakuri has the potential to lead her crew and eventually become as powerful as she was.

Position: Accursed Prince of Elbaf
Devil Fruit: Legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaf
Haki: Armament, Observation, Conqueror’s

Loki is incredibly strong in the world of One Piece, even before we’ve seen his full capabilities. As the prince of Elbaf and a descendant of the ancient giants, he possesses naturally immense power.

Loki stole the incredibly powerful Devil Fruit from Elbaf, and the giants fear he’ll unleash unimaginable destruction if he isn’t stopped.

Loki is incredibly strong, having defeated and killed his father, Harald, a longtime rival of Rocks D. Xebec. He was powerful enough to fight all of Elbaf on his own, but was ultimately subdued by Shanks. Many believe Loki’s strength is at least on par with the Yonko, and possibly even surpasses them.

Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga, One Piece, follows Monkey D. Luffy and his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, as they search for the legendary treasure, the One Piece. The story is currently in its final arc. A new chapter, number 1170, will be released in this week’s Weekly Shonen Jump.
