As a huge One Piece fan, I’m completely fascinated by the God Valley Incident! It’s wild to think about how massively important it was to everything that’s happened, yet almost nobody in the world even knows it occurred. The World Government really covered it up, erasing the island and all records, but the truth always finds a way, right? And it’s incredible that so many key characters actually survived that battle – it’s amazing to think about who was there, especially considering only a few, like Rocks D. Xebec, didn’t make it out.

The God Valley Incident was a huge battle, similar in scale to the war at Marineford, bringing together some of the most powerful groups in the world. This included the feared Rocks Pirates, the legendary Roger Pirates, and the strongest forces of the Navy, even featuring an Elder. Because of this, fans can readily identify the most powerful characters of that era, and it’s where young survivors like Marshall D. Teach and the Figarland brothers began their journeys to become major powers decades later.

I remember hearing about the God Valley Incident, and it’s incredible to think about who was there. Kaido, on the other hand, was a force to be reckoned with, even then. He was part of the Rocks Pirates, alongside a few other future Emperors, and that really speaks volumes about how powerful he was at that time.

Even before gaining the Fish-Fish Fruit: Azure Dragon Model, Kaido was incredibly powerful. But after eating this legendary fruit, he became almost invincible. It was entertaining to watch him soar through the sky, reveling in the strength of his new blue dragon form. For fans of the One Piece manga, it marked the arrival of a true monster, someone so strong they were sure to survive the God Valley Incident based on power alone, not just luck or plot convenience.

Gol D. Roger Survived the God Valley Incident as the Future King of Pirates

I watched Saturn unleash the power of his incredibly strange Zoan Devil Fruit – it resembled a monstrous spider. It was clear he didn’t need any lucky breaks or plot armor to survive the God Valley Incident, much like Kaido. Only someone with exceptionally strong Conqueror’s Haki could really push him back in a fight, but that never even happened there. Without anyone wielding Joy Boy’s Haki or using Gear 5, Saturn seemed to have an easy time during the whole event.

While it’s hard to know for sure, these qualities easily put him among the most powerful figures who survived the God Valley Incident. Being part of Rocks’ crew or building a crew as famous as the Whitebeard Pirates proves he wasn’t someone to be underestimated.

Imu Arrived as a Late-Game Surprise at God Valley

Imu, the mysterious leader of the World Government, hasn’t truly been beaten yet. While pirates escaping the Navy can cause problems for them, Imu has generally been very successful in battle. They’re currently a major threat to Elbaph, and were similarly powerful during the events of the God Valley Incident in the past.

Instead of possessing Gunko, Imu took complete control of Jaygarcia Saturn, transforming into a terrifying creature that shocked everyone. While Imu didn’t engage in much direct combat in this form, they had the powerful technique Domi Reversi prepared. This same technique was what forced Roger and Garp to join forces to defeat the Rocks pirates, and it’s likely to make One Piece fans dislike Imu even more. The Rocks pirates were once seen as somewhat relatable anti-heroes, but Imu turned them into villains who needed to be stopped.

Charlotte Linlin Didn’t Have a Good Time at God Valley But Still Survived

She And Her Children Formed an Incredible Crew in the Following Years

When the battle at God Valley took place, Charlotte Linlin, unlike her fellow Rocks Pirates Edward Newgate and Kaido, was already a powerful Devil Fruit user. She also had a group of children who would later become the Big Mom Pirates. However, none of her children accompanied her to God Valley, meaning she fought the battle independently.

Big Mom was a significant force during the God Valley Incident, even without the help of her strong children like Katakuri, Cracker, and Smoothie. She possessed the Devil Fruit abilities and Haki necessary to protect herself from any danger, suggesting she could have survived the event without artificial plot protection. Despite her strength, things didn’t go perfectly for Big Mom; she ultimately lost the Fish-Fish Fruit: Azure Dragon Model to Kaido after a battle between them.

Monkey D. Garp Stood Out Much More Than His Marine Son Did
