This list contains spoilers for One Piece.
In the vast world of One Piece, brother and sister pairings are consistently among the most powerful characters. Their shared family bond can create incredible loyalty, or intense competition. They have a unique connection that only siblings can truly appreciate.
As a long-time watcher of anime, I’ve noticed that One Piece really excels at portraying sibling relationships. Whether they’ve been separated by hardship or brought closer by love, Eiichiro Oda consistently creates memorable brother and sister dynamics. I’ve been thinking about it lately, and it’s time to really dive into some of the most outstanding sibling pairs the series has to offer.
This article highlights only the blood-related siblings in One Piece.
9. Yeti Cool Brothers
The Yeti Cool Brothers are a pair of enigmatic siblings who briefly appeared during the Punk Hazard storyline and haven’t been seen since. What happened to them is still a mystery, and many One Piece fans speculate they will reappear near the end of the series.
Although the anime series kept their appearances hidden, the manga finally showed what Scotch and Rock looked like clearly. Their designs resemble stone hedges, which actually adds to their enigmatic nature.
These siblings have a remarkably strong bond and always support each other. They impressively defeated Zoro and managed to catch the Straw Hats completely off guard. Though they may not look it, they’re powerful fighters who are willing to help—for the right price.
8. Hiyori and Momonosuke
Even after twenty years, Hiyori and Momonosuke haven’t forgotten each other in One Piece. Despite being separated for so long, they still deeply care for one another as siblings.
Hiyori and Momonosuke share a deep and loving sibling bond, demonstrated by Hiyori’s determined search for her brother, believing he would keep his word. They rely on each other for strength and encouragement, making Hiyori incredibly proud when Momonosuke became the new leader of Wano.
Hiyori and Momonosuke have a typical sibling relationship, filled with playful interactions that demonstrate their close bond. Although Hiyori often playfully ‘attacks’ Momonosuke with her signature dropkicks, it’s obvious she does it out of affection.
7. Kiku and Izo
Many fans often wonder about Kikunojo and Izou’s true genders. While they both appear and act as women, they are actually men.
It’s a shame many fans miss the special brotherly connection between Kiku and Izo. They share a rare bond built on respect, trust, and genuine friendship – a truly strong relationship that would make other siblings envious in the world of One Piece.
6. Ulti and Page One
The Tobiroppo includes the strong brother and sister pair of Ulti and Page One. Despite often arguing, they have a very close relationship. Ulti is fiercely protective of Page One, always making sure he knows she’ll support him through anything.
Page One is much more quiet and subdued, which balances out Ulti’s tendency to be overprotective. Though he doesn’t always show it, he cares about his sister a lot and will do anything to keep her safe. Their playful dynamic and constant teasing often remind fans of real siblings, and it’s a really fun combination to watch.
5. Doflamingo and Corazon
If the world of One Piece were different, Doflamingo and Corazon might have been close allies, almost like brothers. But in the actual story, their relationship was heartbreakingly complicated, marked by betrayal, personal goals, and hidden affection.
Initially, Doflamingo truly cherished Corazon and refused to let anything happen to his brother, no matter the circumstances. He was fiercely protective and would do anything to keep him safe.
As time passed, Doflamingo’s desire for power began to eclipse his affection and concern for Corazon. Doflamingo achieved success in his pursuits, and the outcome is well-known. Corazon remained kind-hearted, but Doflamingo continued to become more and more ruthless.
4. Katakuri and Brulee
Katakuri and Brulee are often seen as the best example of strong sibling bonds in One Piece. From childhood, they’ve consistently shown deep care and unwavering support for each other, both in fights and during difficult family times. Fans especially admire how they always treated each other with respect and kindness, never judging or making fun of one another.
Katakuri and Brulee have the closest relationship of all of Big Mom’s children. They don’t compete with each other at all – they genuinely love, care for, and respect one another. Anyone who tries to harm them quickly discovers that their strong sibling connection makes them a formidable pair. And Brulee can always count on Katakuri to protect her.

3. Shanks and Shamrock
We don’t know much about the relationship between Shanks and his twin brother, Figarland Shamrock, in One Piece. However, despite looking alike, they have distinct personalities. This contrast makes their connection even more fascinating, leaving fans to wonder about their history and how it affects the overall story.
Figarland Shamrock presents himself as very regal and polished, a stark contrast to the rougher, more relaxed look of Shanks. Shamrock’s sophisticated appearance suggests he has a similarly refined way of thinking. Despite Shanks being known as a powerful figure, he doesn’t seem to respect Shamrock, hinting at a brewing rivalry that’s been a long time coming.
2. Loki and Hajrudin
Loki and Hajrudin, unlike the other step-siblings featured here, didn’t have a warm relationship in One Piece. They actively dislike each other, which makes teamwork or even basic agreement impossible. Loki frequently bullied Hajrudin, and Hajrudin held a grudge because of Loki’s disrespectful comments about his mother, who was from another country.
I’ve always been fascinated by Loki and Hajrudin, and I think a lot of fans really get why they’re so compelling. It’s not about excusing their actions, but understanding them. Both characters really show how damaging hatred and abuse can be, and how those things can create a vicious cycle. At first glance, their situations seem totally different, but when you dig deeper, you realize they were both trapped by their own bitterness – Loki fueled by anger towards his mother and the world, and Hajrudin consumed by hatred for his brother. It’s heartbreaking, but powerful to watch.
1. Sanji and Reiju
Sanji only felt true sibling affection from Reiju, even if it wasn’t always openly shown. Unlike his other siblings, Reiju genuinely cared about his well-being and wanted him to succeed. She believed in his dream of becoming a chef and always pushed him to follow his own path, knowing he was capable of great things.
Despite years apart, Sanji and Reiju remained deeply connected. She had always been his strongest protector, and he felt the same way about her, always ready to defend her no matter what. Their love and understanding for each other shone through, even within their difficult family.
